Born on May 22, 1963. Mr. Meier started his career in cargo industry as a Sales Executive over 35 years ago. He worked for global transportation companies such as Kuehne + Nagel and Panalpina. In Panalpina he was in charge of charter operations and scheduled network development. In 2009 he joined Volga-Dnepr Group management team as the Vice-President, Sales, AirBridgeCargo Airlines. His key responsibilities included coordination of the company’s sales, development of client relationships and key solutions for the further business success of AirBridgeCargo Airlines. Mr. Meier has been appointed as Vice-President, Marketing and Development, Volga-Dnepr Group from April 2014. In July 2016 Wolfgang has been assigned as Senior Vice President of the Azeri SilkWay Group. The rapidly growing SilkWay Group assigned him to be responsible for the commercial development of the different cargo airlines within The Groups portfolio.  As of January, 2018 he was appointed as the President of SilkWay West Airlines.
