Amit Tandon is the CEO & Managing Director of Asia Shipping India since 2012. He holds a Masters Degree in Business Management from FORE School of Management, Delhi. Amit has a total experience of 25 years in the Logistics and Freight Forwarding industry. He has also worked with reputed export/ buying houses, international airlines prior to working in the logistics space. In 2012, Amit established Asia Shipping International Transport Private Limited, India in active collaboration with M/s Asia Shipping, Brazil, a multinational logistics service provider. During the last 12 years, the Company has grown to have 11 branches in India, a wholly owned subsidiary in Dubai, employees strength going up from 4 to 180, and offering a wide array of logistics services from the Indian sub-continent through its network of agents worldwide. Asia Shipping, India is AEO (Authorised Economic Operator), GDP (Good Distribution Practices) and ISO certified. The Company has been certified as ‘Great Place to Work’. AS India is also registered with Federal Maritime Commission, USA, and has membership of IATA.
